Greetings to you from CBCI Office for Education and Culture!
As you know from our previous online meetings and conversations, that our Office has initiated CBCI EDUBASE – a software-based portal to gather data of all our Catholic Educational Institutions in India. This has been initiated because the data we have about our Catholic Educational Institutions in India is inadequate and needs to be updated at the earliest!
This model of data gathering is very simple and is to be exercised only one time. Since the data can be collected by visiting www.cbciedubase.org and entering with a USERNAME and a PASSWORD which will be shared with you at the level of National, Regional, Diocesan and Institutions and the data collected is very well protected by a designated server. The data can be entered via computer, iPad or any mobile phone.
To facilitate this process, both the Regional Secretaries and the Diocesan Secretaries need to undergo a 30-minute training where they will be given instruction and where they can also clarify and operate their Region or the Diocesan level data.
Hence, may I request you to give any day before the 15th of March, a maximum of one hour for presentation and training of CBCI EDUBASE Software to your Region. We need the Regional Secretary and the Diocesan Secretary to be present. If the Diocesan Secretary would like to bring a collaborator from their office who can help in gathering data, he is welcome to do so.
